PHILOSOPHY Aline’s thoughts had always been based on the natural beauty of the spirit & mind. The human corps is not only an endless source of fascination, but every person appears beautiful inside when one knows how to look. For Aline it is for the artist to do an interpretation of the inner identity of the sublime to the most simple. Life is a rich source of inspiration and creativity. In her eyes the dignity of the spirit & mind calls for noble and high quality materials, assembled carefully applying the traditional couture and innovative techniques of construction. A quality that stays not just for a season but aspires to be a part of the woman’s personality and becomes almost as much as her own skin in the moment she slips into her chosen dress. It is important for her to first analyze the architecture of the body, but then go beyond to explore the mood & spirit of a woman. The body becomes her canvas on which her interpretation will take shape, in a similar approach of an artist’s portrait.. INOVATION In creating dresses made to measure for many years with her Haute Couture label “Le Kokuyo”, Aline discovered, through extensive research the existence of 10 different female body types. When she measures the body she not only knows the size but also to which body type the woman belongs. With this information Aline creates dresses, which will fit like they are made to measure ready to wear. The system is a complex “moulage” technique of cuts and pleats that moulds the fabrics 3 dimensionally over the body without it having to be necessarily of flexible nature or cut wide enhancing the woman’s best features. |
